Ken Chan

Ken Chan is a commercial photographer. His area of expertise is covering foods, restaurants, products, portraiture and event photography.

He write a food blog http://www.foodpoi.com which showcase his photography work dedicated for food and events. He shoot for many big names like Prince Hotel & Residence, Nikko Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Din Tai Fung Malaysia, Tai Thong Restaurants Group, Tamarind Hill and many more. His recent job is to have a photo and gourmet journalism with famous Hong Kong Gourmet Celebrity Hugo Leong in China. Besides restaurants and hotels, he shoot for renowned Bufori Motors too which famous for its hand made cars.

Portraiture experience wise, he previously participate in Miss Malaysia World profile shot which he shoot for Ms. Soo Win Ci (2008-2009 beauty queen) and the current reign Ms. Thanuja Ananthan (2009-2010 beauty queen). He also involve in shooting for Carven Ong Couture’s fashion show in several big occasions. For those who don’t know about Carven Ong, he is one of the most sought after wedding dress designer in Malaysia.

Ken is very experienced with Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras. His expertise in both systems gave him the advantage of guiding our participants from this 2 common DSLR brands in the market.
