As photographers, we’re always looking for perfect light. And yet, the quality of available light isn’t always ideal. It is rarely perfect.

Many Amateur photographers are afraid to use flash. They solely depend very much with the mini built in flash on the camera to take their photos. As a result, the lighting turns out to be very harsh most of the time. No more hard shadows and no more burnt highlights on the forehead and cheeks once you participate in our Flash Photography Class.

Flash Photography course is where you learn how to use your different kind of flashes, from pop-up flashes to hot-shoe flashes, the studio light even with Multi Flashes of at least 2 flashes used at any one time. We will share with you the types of common flash modifiers as well. Meanwhile, you will also be learning how to get amazing results simply by using modern speedlite flashes available with i-TTL & Manual Mode.

Once the sun has set, many photographers will pack away their cameras and go home. This does not mean that if there is no daylight, there are no good photos to be captured. They are missing out capturing some of the most stunning and visually exciting images to be had.

Taking photographs at night is a lot simpler to achieve then one might think. The results can be very stunning and strange effects are easy to master. It is also possible to take top quality night images with just basic equipment.

Join our upcoming course on Outdoor Night Photography. We will share with you the Secret of shooting Night Shots with Manual Mode effectively.

What is Abstract Photography ?

Abstract Photography is the photographic art that is not representational of real objects in the natural world. By taking the essence of the photo or a portion of the photo and by using color and or the form in an aesthetic arrangement or combination, the photographic abstraction becomes art.

First Photography Penang is proud to organize Abstract Photography class conducted by Mr. Nawfal Nur from Lincoln, Nebraska (USA) who has been an explorer of photography since he was twelve years old.

Nawfal spends considerable effort and time working on Abstract and Fine Art Photography pieces and folio collections. He has earned recognition for his abstract fine art works through various photo competitions, including the competitive on-line contests at BetterPhoto. Also, he has several fine art and macroscopic photo works published in the on-line ‘Readers Gallery‘ of the British Journal of Photography.
